Research & evaluation

We have earned a reputation for high quality research & evaluation processes and reports, delivered with integrity and commitment. Our evaluations are participative, use meaningful processes and focus on impact. We draw on creative and highly participative methodologies to engage and get under the skin of projects.

Green Hat's research commissions focus largely, but not exclusively, on qualitative methodologies. They have a strong community focus and are always interactive.

Training & development

Green Hat provides bespoke community training and development activities with a creative twist. We provide a fresh, energetic and participative approach to training and development activities, creating a productive, fun and rewarding learning environment. We offer structured training workshops as well as more informal activities such as mentoring.

We can also offer accredited training through the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), with whom we are a Registered Provider [include ILM logo]. As well as programmes tailored for your organisation and its needs, we can offer the following accredited programmes:

Green Hat is passionate about facilitation and the benefits that a skilled, neutral and external facilitator can bring to a process. Our team are experienced in working on community-based activities, forums, areas of conflict & contention, committee & Board meetings and consultation process. We can facilitate a whole process or simply help you through a sticky patch.

Project Management

Green Hat offers a complete project management service. We are brilliantly organised, enthusiastic, communicative and full of ideas. We do programme management, events such as exhibitions & conferences, publications, interim management, celebratory events and development activities.

In the last few years, we have managed major projects for Voluntary Arts Ireland, Leitrim County Council, Northern Ireland Theatre Association, Cavan VEC and Sligo Peace III Partnership.
