Evaluation
We have earned a reputation for creative and highly participative evaluation processes with a focus on the participants or beneficiaries, and on imaginative and accessible documents.Green Hat uses facilitated discussions, participative workshops, informal focus groups, multi-media activities, online tools and creative techniques as part of our clients' evaluation processes.
Our approach is largely (but not exclusively) qualitative and focuses on meaningful, sustainable and long-term impacts.
Research
Our research commissions use qualitative methodologies &/or are investigative, exploratory work such as community audits or project feasibility.As with much of our work, Green Hat's research focuses on communities, experiences and the identification of informational, resourcing and other needs.
Strategic Planning
Green Hat offers a participative approach to strategic planning and development, using workshops, facilitated discussions, creative & online tools, and other engaging methodologies.We are keen to empower, engage and ensure participation from the widest range of staff, board, committee members, volunteers and other stakeholders.
Training & Development
Green Hat provides bespoke business-based training but with a creative twist. We provide a fresh, energetic and participative approach to training and development activities, creating a productive, fun and rewarding learning environment.We also offer a range of accredited courses through the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), with whom we are a Registered Provider. Green Hat is able to develop and deliver accredited training courses tailored to your organisations needs.
Facilitation
Green Hat is passionate about facilitation and the benefits that a skilled, neutral and external facilitator can bring to a process.Our facilitators are experienced in working on community-based activities, forums, areas of conflict & contention, committee & board meetings, organisational development, policy development and consultation processes.
We can facilitate a whole process or simply help you through a sticky patch.
Project Management
Green Hat is able to offer a complete project management service for arts, creative industries and community projects. Projects are supported by our office, meeting room space and administrative team.In the last few years we have managed major projects for the Northern Ireland Theatre Association, Voluntary Arts Ireland and Making Music.
